This privacy policy applies between you, the visitor to this website and/or user of our services and Quantum BSO & Tech Pvt. Ltd. (including its affiliated companies, “Quantum BSO,” “we,” or “us”), the owner and provider of this website(s) who also acts as a Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 1998.

We use cookies to help make a client’s experience when using a Website easy and meaningful.

Financial and billing information that we collect is used solely to check the qualifications of prospective clients and to bill and collect for a Service.
We may use and collect contact information provided by a visitor or client for the purpose of contacting the visitor or client to discuss products and services that we provide and to send information regarding our company or partners, including information regarding commercial promotions or invitations to commercial events. Clients may use a Service, to manage commercial shipping. Quantum BSO, directly or through a third-party vendor, may collect, process, or store client data and other information through such use of a Service by clients. Examples of the type of information that may be collected include the location of vessels using the Service and the time, amount and type of usage of the Service by the client. Quantum BSO uses this information to provide the Service, provide support, diagnose technical problems, and improve the quality of the Service. Quantum BSO may also use this information for internal purposes, such as auditing, data analysis, or to help us develop or improve our products or services.
Quantum BSO uses a third-party intermediary to manage credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided except for the purpose of credit card processing.

“Third Party Service Provider” means a telecommunications, internet, hosting, or other service provider, other than Quantum BSO or the client, providing wireless, internet, hosting, or other intermediary services facilitating or necessary for the operation of a Website or Service or Quantum BSO’s business operations.
Quantum BSO may disclose personal data or client data to, and permit the collection, use, and storage of personal data or client data by, one or more Third Party Service Providers in connection with the operation of a Website or Service, including to host the Website and Service and to store data. The collection, use, disclosure, transfer, storage and protection of personal data and client data by Third Party Service Providers is subject to the terms of service, privacy policies and other terms and policies of such Third Party Service Providers.
We strive to keep Third Party Service Provider access to your personal data and client data to a minimum. However, data provided by you to us may in some circumstances need to be available to Third Party Service Providers that we use for the operation of our business, for example to our bank to process client payments or to the hosting provider of our Services. Personal data or client data passed to Third Party Service Providers may be used only to the extent required by them to perform the services that we request and only in accordance with the GDPR and any other applicable legislation.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to ask for a “Subject Access Request”, meaning a copy of your personal data held by us. Upon valid request under the GDPR, we will provide you with a copy of the personal data we hold on you. This will be in a commonly used machine readable file where you request us to e-mail the information to you. To the extent required by the GDPR, we will also give you a description of the personal data, tell you why we are holding it and tell you who we could have disclosed it to. We do not charge to provide you with this information.

We will also stop processing personal data on your request and you may also request that we delete the personal data held on you, though we may have to retain personal data for a certain length of time for legal purposes, for example tax legislation. If you would like to update your contact, registration or billing information, you may do so by emailing solutions@Quantumbso.com. Quantum BSO generally responds to update requests within 30 days. Clients registered to use a Service can also use the Website to update their information and to view their updated profile to confirm their edits have been made.
Except as necessary in connection with a Service, clients and Website users can opt out of being contacted by us at any time by contacting the Quantum BSO Support team via solutions@Quantumbso.com
The Website and any computer or device on which personal data or client data is used or stored may be hosted or operated by Quantum BSO or by a Third Party Service Provider engaged by Quantum BSO for such purpose. With respect to any website, computer or device hosted or operated by Quantum BSO, Quantum BSO has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the personal data or client data under our control, including technology that protects information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that personal data or client data is safe, secure and not intercepted by an unauthorized person. Quantum BSO also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications and hosts its websites in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.
For Websites or Services hosted by Third Party Service Providers, Quantum BSO selects Third Party Service Providers that it believes provide at least the level of security as that provided by Quantum BSO and that is compliant with GDPR regulations.
Quantum BSO provides unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a client logs on to a Service. Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of this information.
These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of personal data or client data.
The Website is not directed at or permitted to be used by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information under the age of 13.
We reserve the right to assign and transfer this privacy policy and personal and client data to a successor company in connection with any sale, merger, or reorganization of our company. The successor company’s privacy policy and practices may supersede this privacy policy.
In the event of any conflict between this privacy policy and any Client Agreement entered into between you and Quantum BSO, the terms of such Client Agreement shall govern.
We reserve the right to change and update this privacy policy as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Clients and visitors to the Website should check this privacy policy whenever they visit the Website to ensure they are aware of the latest Policy. Your continued use of the Website or a Service after such changes are implemented constitutes your acceptance of the changes. As and when any changes occur, they will be set out on a change log. This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the Singapore, and any disputes relating to this privacy policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
