I read today on a Facebook group I am on the "Rumi & Sufi Community" a thought-provoking post and it says:

"Don't cross the ocean for someone who would not cross a puddle for you"

As I read this from a personal and professional perspective, my instinctive reaction was "How true", and maybe I/we too needed to reassess our priorities. We are in a world that has evolved, one that is material, one where people have different priorities and where reciprocity is not always front and center."

But then, thank God, better judgement prevailed and my personal upbringing, the family values I was brought up with, the professional values my mentors and guides imparted - and above all, what my wife, partner and best friend believes in took over.

Do what is RIGHT. Do what your DHARMA and KARMA dictates. Do what your CULTURE is formulated around. And that I am proud to say is "Walking the extra Mile".

For family, friends, business colleagues and importantly Quantum BSO's customer. We may not always be acknowledged, respected, reciprocated, but in the few times we are, it makes it all worthwhile.

In responding to a recent post from Andrew about Clients and C-Clients, I wrote about our experience about A-Clients (with deep gratitude) and the many unnamed (with deep disappointment) C-Clients, and how no matter what we do, appreciation is impossible to attain. No matter how much we exceed their expectations, the team here never gets acknowledged.

I now realise that C-Clients should not and will not change who we are, what is our "Dharma" for good Karma, and what we do as professionals. We must always remain true to who we are, not respond based on people's behaviour.

As such at Quantum BSO - Walking the Extra Mile will always be our Mantra.
